Strong leaders understand how they communicate, respond under pressure, handle feedback, and create confidence in others. High performance alone does not create leadership readiness; the ability to coach, make decisions, build relationships, and align people to outcomes does. Leading self means developing the discipline, judgement, and behavioural awareness required to lead others effectively. It is the foundation of succession readiness and sustainable leadership growth.
