The “6-3-5” Technique (6 participants, 3 ideas each and 5 rounds)
- Six participants in the activity.
- In the first round, each of the six participants generates three ideas individually, resulting in a total of 18 ideas (6 participants x 3 ideas each).
- These ideas are then passed around to the right(imagine everyone sitting in a circle) in subsequent rounds, with each participant building upon the ideas received.
- The process typically repeats for multiple rounds, often five or more.
So, by the end of the process, you’ll have many more ideas than the initial 18, thanks to the collaborative and iterative nature of the method.
